Quality of Life Hackathon
About the Hackathon
In partnership with AARP Foundation and Nex Cubed, the HBCU Founders Initiative will be hosting the Quality of Life Hackathon. Upon applying, founders will submit their startup idea that addresses one of the listed challenges perpetuating the wealth gap in our county.
10 teams will be chosen to participate in the Hackathon, which will be held on November 6th.
The first place team will receive a $5,000 credit toward building a minimum viable product (MVP) and customer development.
A select team will also be invited to present their company at the November 12th Cultivate Pitch Competition: Closing the Wealth Gap sponsored by AARP Innovation Labs, Mastercard, and Franklin Templeton where $45k in cash and prizes will be awarded.
